1. Essential Shopping and Security Cookies
WooCommerce uses shopping-session cookies, including woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart and wp_woocommerce_session_ cookies, to keep track of the basket and connect it to your session. WordPress uses authentication cookies when you sign in and may use a test cookie to check browser support. Payment and security services may use storage needed to process your requested checkout securely and prevent fraud.
Exact cookie names and duration can vary with software updates and the service requested. Session storage generally lasts for the browsing session; persistent storage remains until its expiry or until you clear it.
2. Saved Favourites
When you use the wishlist, selected product identifiers are saved in local storage under stylo-wishlist. This stays in your browser until you remove favourites or clear site storage. It does not store a customer name, card number or security code.
3. Store Chat
When you use chat, your browser stores a temporary conversation key in session storage under stylo-chat-session. It is used to retrieve your conversation and replies on this device, not for advertising. Closing the browser session or clearing storage may remove access to the conversation. 4. Google Maps
The location section contains a Google Maps embed that loads as you reach the section. This connects to Google, which receives technical information such as your IP address and device information and may use cookies under its own policies. 5. Payment Services
Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies for secure payment processing, authentication and fraud prevention when you use the payment service. Read Stripe’s Privacy Policy at https://stripe.com/gb/privacy. Payment methods available for an order are displayed at checkout.
6. Managing Cookies and Browser Storage
You can view, delete or block cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may prevent your basket, sign-in or checkout from working. Deleting site storage clears saved favourites and may remove access to an open chat conversation.
Non-essential advertising or analytics storage requires an appropriate choice before activation where the law requires it. Such technologies are not essential merely because they are useful to a business.
